關於設計-Design

經典的復古概念，今次的PU皮用的比以往厚，手袋相對更立體，變相手感會重一點。

第一輪，離不開經典黑色啡色，第一次做外包邊，效果比想象中好。

方形五金的手抽，因為手袋整體比以往重，所以今次加厚加寬的手柄，比之前的tote-bag/tea-bag的幼肩帶會舒適更多。

最首先的概念是上班族公事包idea，車下車下變左女人味濃厚的優雅公事包，上班族version.劇透一下應該5/6月先會改良好哈哈。

不難發現，theme係有濃濃的coach影子～Coach都係我好中意的牌子，branding各方面都好貫徹始終，classic elegance。香港女仔比較嬌小，而且對於bulky的手袋款式接受程度無咁高。所以係手袋前扣部分，選用了細一個碼數的前扣。所以即使嬌小女生用，手袋視覺效果都不會過於龐大。

While I enjoy all types of handbags, I’ve recently enjoyed top-handle bags in a ladylike style. There are many different styles of handbags using top handle design, while mini bag may not be the fittest design for daily usage. Therefore, I have tried sewing a top handle bag in medium size, which the outcome excites me a lot. 

It is inspired by vintage briefcases and classic coach vintage design, sewing with smaller metalware and thickening the handle to raise the cosiness. Handier for a medium-sized handbag that has some weight when fully packed. Smaller metalware gives a less bulky impression to tiny users too.

關於材質-Fabric Selection

選用的是平紋PU皮，表面平滑舒適感up up為主，本來金扣及手袋整體都偏華麗，所以皮料唔想過於花巧，平滑的表面可以neutralise到整體太嚴肅/太成熟的感覺。軟硬度適中，唔會係使用期間撞瘀自己盆骨，you know what i mean sis。第一次車我仲要攝左板，撞到我盆骨痛而且失去手感。

Selected PU leather presents a smooth and soft texture, keeping a classic daily handbag theme by pairing less sumptuous leather texture and metalware. 

關於版型-Pattern

開始試紙樣時，無打算做中型，因為剪完布，發覺用好多，笑左，有少少唔捨得。但礙於布已剪，袋要車，硬著頭皮都試車左，放上身試尺寸時，心動了。反而確信今次一定要以中型手袋為住，反之太細失去左公事包既原意，太大又過於沈重。

為加強復古感，袋新咗梯形設計

袋身一體既反蓋設計，因為轉角位短，所以即使使用途中打開蓋都唔會反曬出黎，個人物品唔會傾盆而出。

底部一如既往，我都做了加厚，放枱面之類都會平穩d。

側面是不容忽視的五金長帶扣，直接可以扣上同款的cross-body長帶/你喜歡的手袋handle。

I was surprised how much fabric I cut out for drafting the 1st trial, and I couldn’t imagine cutting more. I used the cutout fabric anyways, and the outcome surprised me. It surprised me with its perfect size and proportion.

關於容量-Capacity

更值得一提當然係Capacity的介紹，相信不少客人都已經發現店主ipad不離身，試車時當然以能容納11吋iPad Pro為準則啦，結果果然能夠維持中型手袋size，同時放得到我的iPad，很欣慰。以本人使用感受，輕鬆放手機、銀包、軟化妝包、消毒用品、眼鏡盒、schedule book及其餘鑰匙size的小物品。有放過portable size相機，但礙於之後重量實在會造成高低膊，所以後來無再放相機哈哈。

Compartment風格如同bread bag等手袋內部設計，3個暗格，唯獨今次最後放棄拉鍊暗格，因為第一次試的時候成品厚到阿媽都唔認得，本人接受不了。特別今次用料及版型已經令手感重了，內部太繁複厚重的話，手感一定重到難以想像，所以我果斷放棄了。

To keep the bag size within the medium range while capable of daily usage, I focused on the thickness of the bag. It fits cellphones, wallets, keychains, etc. 

The compartment is also the highlight of this bag since many of us need compartments to keep organised. Three compartments in total for each bag, and I abandoned the zipper compartment design because it appeared too thick at my first trial.
